Core Creator Standards

Successful content should look authentic while still meeting the commercial and technical requirements of the campaign.

💡

Good Lighting

Film in bright, clean and balanced light. The product, face and demonstration area should remain clearly visible.

🎙

Clear Audio

Use understandable speech with minimal echo, traffic, fan noise, music interference or background conversation.

📱

Stable Framing

Keep the camera stable, lens clean and framing intentional. Avoid accidental cropping or excessive empty space.

Natural Delivery

Speak confidently and naturally. Avoid reading mechanically, shouting or making the presentation look forced.

Before You Start Filming

Review the Assignment

  • Confirm the product, payout and delivery deadline.
  • Read the complete script, hook, CTA and shot list.
  • Check the required language, duration and aspect ratio.
  • Confirm whether face, voice-over, captions or raw clips are required.
  • Ask questions in writing before filming where possible.

Prepare the Recording Area

  • Clean the product and remove unnecessary packaging.
  • Use a neat, uncluttered and relevant background.
  • Keep all props and required product components ready.
  • Test lighting, camera focus, microphone and storage space.
  • Avoid visible third-party logos unless approved.

Follow the Written Brief Exactly

The assignment brief may specify the video format, resolution, aspect ratio, duration, language, script, hook, CTA, required shots, product demonstration, audio, captions, editing style, posting instructions and delivery deadline.

Do not replace required scenes, change key claims, alter the offer, remove the CTA or proceed on assumptions where clarification could materially affect the final video.

Where a question is raised, the Company should ordinarily be allowed one working day to respond.

Video Quality Checklist

Area Required Standard Avoid
Resolution Submit clear Full HD content unless another specification is given. Pixelated, compressed, blurred or screen-recorded final files.
Orientation Use the aspect ratio and orientation mentioned in the brief. Black bars, incorrect cropping or mixed orientation.
Lighting Keep the product and face evenly visible. Harsh shadows, yellow casts, overexposure or dark scenes.
Audio Speech should be clear and easy to understand. Echo, fan noise, traffic, clipping or copyrighted music.
Demonstration Show the product's use clearly and logically. Incorrect use, hidden product details or unsupported claims.
Editing Keep pacing clean, engaging and suitable for advertising. Distracting effects, unnecessary filters or third-party watermarks.

Content You Must Not Use

Prohibited or Unapproved Material

  • Copied footage, scripts or content belonging to another creator.
  • Copyrighted music without appropriate permission.
  • Third-party platform or editing-app watermarks.
  • Visible competitor branding without written approval.
  • Misleading statements, guarantees or exaggerated product claims.

Unprofessional Presentation

  • Abusive, discriminatory, sexual, political or inflammatory content.
  • Unsafe product use or demonstrations that may cause harm.
  • Dirty products, cluttered backgrounds or unhygienic presentation.
  • Content recorded while driving or in another unsafe situation.
  • Publishing assignment content without required approval.

Submission and Revisions

01

Submit on Time

The first complete edited draft should normally be delivered within five calendar days of courier-confirmed product delivery.

02

Share the Correct File

Use the requested file format, resolution, naming convention and submission method. Keep a backup until approval and payment.

03

Complete Revisions

Reasonable corrections, editing changes or reshoots required under the original brief must be completed within the communicated timeline.

Delay reporting: Inform the team as early as possible if a genuine issue may affect delivery. Informing the team shortly before or after the deadline does not automatically extend the timeline.

Professional Conduct and Communication

  • Use respectful and professional communication with the team.
  • Respond within a reasonable time during an active assignment.
  • Do not share confidential briefs, scripts, pricing, feedback or unreleased campaign information.
  • Do not assign the work to another creator without written approval.
  • Do not make commitments you cannot reasonably complete.
  • Keep contact, PAN and payment details accurate.
  • Report damaged, incorrect or incomplete products within 24 hours with clear photo or video proof.

Posting, Usage Rights and Exclusivity

Posting Approval

Do not publish assigned content on your profile unless posting has been approved or specifically requested in writing.

Tagging Requirement

If approved content is posted, tagging The Reel Daddy is mandatory unless different instructions are provided.

Product Exclusivity

For 11 months from final video delivery, do not create promotional content for another seller involving the same or substantially identical product.

Content usage: After payment, the Company may use, edit, resize, subtitle, translate and publish approved content worldwide on an ongoing basis across lawful marketing channels, subject to the applicable creator agreement.
